Can Anything be Art? What About a Crack in the Floor?

So can anything be considered as ‘art’ nowadays? More importantly, will important art galleries consider just about anything to be art? Well, the Tate Modern Art Museum in London thinks so. They’ve just revealed this new acquisition:

It’s a piece by Doris Salcedo called Shibboleth. And it’s a big crack in the floor.
